Mission:

Placed under the authority of the Latecoere Interconnections Systems – Head of Plant Germany, we are looking for

a program/Project manager to be based in Hamburg. The successful applicant will join the Program Management

team.

Roles and responsibilities

Customer relationship management:

? Be the face to the customer on planning, resource and technical topics (with the support of your

multifunctional team)

? Act as main focal point between customer and internal stakeholders

? Report progress to the customer

? Manage purchase orders and cascade them internally

? Negotiate delivery dates, claims and counter-claims

Profit & Loss management:

? Take accountability for the financial performance of the program/project: revenue, costs, EBIT, gross

margin

? Allocate budgets to level-1 (Work Package Leaders) & control expenditure

? Ensure on time NRP/RP invoicing based on contractual payment schedule

? Manage financial controlling: define, open and close booking codes in due time

? Analyze root causes and if applicable propose convergence/recovery solutions in case of non-adherence to

the initial budget (claim, investments in cost reduction programs, transfer of work to Best Cost Countries…)

Activity management:

? Develop and authorize the Program/project Management Plan (PMP) and all subsequent plans (e.g Cost,

Quality, Communication, HR, Risk, Configuration...Management Plans)

? Monitor & control the progress of all program/project deliverables from initiation to closure

? Arbitrate on priorities over resources between work packages (WP)

? Prepare and manage internal/external reviews (e.g related to program, industrial, progress, etc.)

? Keep Key Performance Indicators (KPI) relevant and up-to-date

? Manage conflictual situations

? Perform risk/opportunity reviews with your multifunctional team

? Organize and lead drumbeats with your program's multifunctional team

? Escalate issues to senior management when necessary

? Ensure LIS corporate processes remain in line with the customer processes

? Manage ramp-up and ramp-down to adapt workforce to the workload in close collaboration with

hierarchical leaders in the different functions

? Lead Request for Proposals/Quotations (RfP/RfQ) from initiation to contract award

Education & Skills:

? Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering (e.g Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical/Aeronautical etc.), Project

Management, Business Management or a related discipline

? Between 5 and 10 years working experience with at least 3 years of experience in the Aerospace industry

? Knowledge of project management standards (PMI, Agile, Prince2, etc.)

? Willing to establish a long-term working relationship with the Latécoère group

? Willing to travel for business on customer premises worldwide

? Fluent level of English. Intermediate level of French. German is a plus.

? Excellent communication & leadership skills with a proven track record of project delivery in a development

and production environment

? Show potential to manage and lead a variety of programs autonomously
