Job title and activities

Mission: The Team Leader lead a polyvalent production team between 5 to 14 operators ensuring the good performance of the work order in time, quality, security and FOD, as well as guarantee the motivation and the good practices. 


Tasks to be performed:

  • Prepare, organize and manage in an optimal way human resources which fall under his reponsibility
  • Manage his activity planning and distribute the workload effectively
  • Communicate and fix team objectives
  • Respect, apply and enforce internal and customer procedures
  • Fill-in indicators and common daily report of his work package to his direct command/ customer
  • Encourage daily meeting (SQCDP) & weekly meeting with his team
  • Attend weekly meeting of team leaders
  • Responsibility of the good application of the security rule
  • Responsibility of the good application of the FOD rule
  • Propose corrective actions
  • Ensure follow up and control of tools/materials/vehicles
  • Ensure team discipline
  • Report to the manager deviations about standard, discipline, etc.
  • In shift model: secure a proper shift handover
  • Be responsible for the validation of vacation request in Planett
  • Secure operational surveillance
  • Ensure proper documentation of work order/cleanliness of tools (SAP, Redmine)


Reporting lines and functional connections

Direct command: Operational Leader

Relations with other departments: Production team, Quality team, Technical Support team, logistical team, production control.

Training - experience:

  • Job accessible by internal promotion for BC (Blue Collar) which comply with:
  • 4-5 years’ work experience in the sector
  • Lead qualities and organization


Related knowledge:

  • Professional experience in Aeronautics industry
  • Experience confirmed on a similar Job
  • Experience in team management
  • Knowledge of the environment linked to the activity
  • Knowledge of the company organization and environment
  • Knowledge of the procedures and the quality documentation
  • Knowledge of the Customers procedures
  • General computing knowledge (Word, Excel)
  • SAP knowledge
  • Fluent English appreciated
