To support our team in our Support Center at Wiesbaden Central Station we are looking for for the next possible date a committed and solution-oriented person.
YOUR TASKS:
- Independent support of our internal and external networks as well as active participation in planning and implementation of changes and extensions
- Responsibility and contact person for the monitoring (Wotan) including further development of our existing concepts for the IT infrastructure
- Administration, commissioning and maintenance of the existing CISCO LAN/WLAN network infrastructure
- Ensuring a smooth operation of the Cisco network environment
- Optimization and support of the existing IT network security incl. responsibility for the Firewall-Mgmt (Sophos, Palo Alto)
- Network monitoring and documentation as well as continuous performance improvement
- Contact person for external service providers
- Support in setting up and maintaining of workstations, printers, etc.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g. as an IT specialist) or a comparable education with a focus on network focus on network technology and at least 3 years Work experience in a comparable position
- Experience in project planning, organization, implementation, and controlling
- Sound knowledge in the following areas:
o TCP/IP; WLAN
o Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2016, 2019)
o Microsoft Exchange / SQL Server
o Office 365 and Windows client operating systems (Windows 10)
o VM-Ware; Citrix server farms, GPO
- Programming skills in PowerShell & VBA
- Knowledge of data protection regulations (DSGVO)
- Team-oriented, independent and structured way of working; Commitment; creativity; initiative
- Motivation as well as communicative and self-confident appearance
- Good command of English
- Very good analytical thinking and strong result orientation
